Introduction to Warm Glass
Maybe you have already gotten you feet wet by trying a few fusing projects and you want more technical information about the warm glass medium. This is the class for you. In this class we will cover tools and supplies, including kiln selection and operation. You will learn about different types of glass and the factors that effect the outcome of your projects. You will make a 6" suncatcher using a varity of different glass fusing components.There will be an introduction to various types of mold materials and an opportunity to create a simple mold. You will get hands on experience at firing a kiln and detailed information on fusing schedules. Sign up to come to our studio and learn many tricks of the trade.
