Being in foster care can be a dark time for a child. A nightlight made by someone,especially another child,may help to lighten their hearts. To answer this need I have created the "Let Your Light Shine" Project.

I have been in contact with the regional director of the Foster Parent Association and she is excited about the possibilities of this endeavor. I am looking for individuals and groups who have a giving spirit to get involved. The nightlights can be made throughout the year and given to the children when they enter foster care or at Christmas.

We have opportunities for individuals and groups to come to our studio and make nightlights to be given to a less fortunate child. Perhaps you or a family member are part of an organization looking for a community service project. This could be a perfect fit. We can accomodate groups of up to 10 people in our studio. If your group is larger, we bring the experience to you. The cost is $20 per person,and only takes an hour of time. There is a volume discount for groups over 20 people made at your facility, $15 per person.
